Alamo's "avoid the lines" policy worked perfectly for us at Atlanta Airport recently. Pick-up and drop-off were efficient. The car we got had lots of dings, which we did spend time pointing out to the attendant. But the car worked well, and there were no hassles on return.
When I dropped the car off, check in took all of about 5 minutes- again, so easy! They billed my card for the price I was quoted and I was on my way. I can't think of a single complaint.
Great Experience! Very nice Hyundai vehicle. Drove silently while babies slept! Noiseless Engine but fuel consumption was little higher than I expected. No cruise control either! Drop off was seamless with quick hop, skip and jump to catch my flight and luggage trolleys now available for a fee!!!
We did the skip the line and it was super convenient. We went right by the counter with the long line, picked out our car and were on our way in less than 10 minutes. They were out of both economy and compact cars so we got an intermediate for the same price which was a bonus. Car was in excellent shape and still got good gas millage. My only complaint is that they could do a little better with the cleaning as the car had soap spots all over it and the inside needed another round of vacuuming, but that is a minor picky thing. I will definitely use Alamo again after this great experience.
This was so EASY!!! I didn't have to wait in line, I didn't have to do crazy paper work, no one tried to up-sell me. I checked in early so I could go straight to my car. There was plenty of clear signage so I could find it, and there were staff at many visible locations so that I could ask questions when I had them. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful.
I have never had a bad experience when renting with Alamo. Everything has always been in order. This particular time I rented with Alamo at the Atlanta Airport where I selected a car that was not up to par. When I exited the airport garage, I noticed that the car was pulling to the left, an obvious sign that the car needed an alignment. I circled back to the car rental garage, explained to an employee by the name of Divine, my concerns with the car and upon examining the vehicle we both noticed the front tires were bald! You can’t really see in the rental garage because it’s kind of dark, so you don’t always notice things right away. Divine notated my paperwork that once I return the new vehicle I was to be given two free days. I appreciated that help from him and went on to get a new vehicle. When going back to the lot to select a new vehicle, there weren’t any cars left in my car class. I found another employee by the name of Ashlee, who said for all of the troubles I automatically get upgraded at no cost because I should feel safe in my vehicle especially with a small child. That right there is even more of a reason why I always rent with Alamo. I am always treated more than just another customer, no matter what city I’m renting from. Selecting a new vehicle was a breeze, returning the vehicle was a breeze. I had no issues receiving my discount and actually feel I was undercharged, but definitely not going to complain. These employees should definitely be recognized for their outstanding customer service.
