Budget saved my trip. I just got turned away from Dollar Rent a Car even after I already booked and paid for the car because they wouldn't accept a Debit Card as a 2nd form of I.D..
IF I could've let 0 stars I would have! My mother, my daughter and I have been trying to get a representative on the line for almost 24 hours. She needed to get back to another state for a family emergency. I was told to call the office of the manager only to be transferred to yet ANOTHER voice mail. I am currently calling the same number back with NO answer!!! I don't care if I have to WALK, I will NEVER use this car rental company again!! And after FINALLY getting someone on the phone, Brian, the manager for the Budget in Atlanta, Ga, stated to my mother and I "I am being gracious by only giving you milage from Atlanta airport to West Palm Beach airport"....even though we explained to him countless times that we have been trying to get in touch with the office for almost 24 hours. He never offered an apology nor a better solution to the issue at hand. He did not acknowledge the fact that his location dropped the ball. I am very disappointed in the so-called customer service we received. Brian, the location manager was rude and unempathetic to our situation. I have to wonder HOW he holds that position. THE WORST!
3 hours to get a car and get lied to that I could drive to another state and add an additional driver at any budget location. When I get to the other location they said I'd have to go back to the Atlanta location. SORRY NOT GONNA HAPPEN. No one cared about helping or looking into the corporate contract that this was rented under. I'll never drive a Budget car again.
Even though I placed the order online and specified exactly what I wanted, they still tried to trick me into paying more. Additional options were presented as if the agent was confirming my already preselected options. I actually had to reiterate at each step that I only want exactly what I specified and paid for online, and they still managed to upsell me one extra option. The car was clean, 10k miles, very good condition. Pick up process should have been faster.
good, usually rent from budget but this one always is better than the others. Manager is friendly. The guy who checks you out of the grage is always nice.
