Selected a car from the isle did my walk around saw no problems. Get to the check out gate and realize drivers headlight is out and low tire warning on two tires. Guy at gate didn’t notice burnt out headlight, had to ask is thethay headlight out he says yes than proceeds to tell me to turn around and drive in the wrong direction in the lot, got 35 feet could go no further had to grab my bags and walk to find a new car. The next car I get has cigarette buts on the floor but is in the best shape overall. I will consider a different car company in the future.
Great experience in general. The whole rental car area at ATL is easy to maneuver. As always, the "hard sell" to add additional insurance is unnerving, and can really rack up your charges if you are unsuspecting. Just say no!! I will add that Stacie at the Enterprise counter is very good at selling.
I rent from Enterprise every time that I travel to visit family . I usually rent for 3 - 5 days each time. The customer service when I am at the counter picking up the car is always excellent. The employees are always attentive and willing to help..
Our car (Jeep Cherokee) was well maintained and easy to drive. It would be great if anyone asked you if you had any questions, and not just say "you're all set" and let you drive away. The return crew was very nice.
Of the 20 or so times that I have rented from Enterprise, I was unhappy with the vehicle 2 times. The last trip to Georgia, I had a nice Chrysler 200 vehicle, but it smelled terribly from cigarette smoke. They were short on cars that day, so I was unable to get another car. The other time, the interior of the car was very dirty and Enterprise had to clean it before I could drive away from the airport.. Otherwise, I have been very pleased with the service and quality of the vehicles.
The Enterprise at the Atlanta airport was super busy. All the other rental car companies were not busy at all. I’m not sure why; it might be because they have slightly cheaper prices. The kiosk check in was nice, because I was able to skip that super long line. My issue with Enterprise at Atlanta airport is the rest of their process. When you get your rental agreement printed, you go to the garage into this long line. One by one the representatives come and individually escort you to your car and do the walk through. There were many representatives that looked like they were standing around chatting and not helping customers. This was a frustrating experience. They car was great. Good choices. Good condition. The return process was also inefficient and frustrating. You drive in to the return portion of the garage and one by one representatives slowly come and check your odometer and print your receipt. I think they need a better, more automated process (like Hertz) or simply more employees helping customers. I think next time I would rather pay another $10 and use Hertz!
This rental was an afterthought since I’d been in ATL since Tuesday. I had only planned to use the hotel shuttle and/or catch a cab if needed but, I needed to visit a local business and preferred to have my own wheels. It was only for a day but, I enjoyed the ride. I’m usually better at arranging transportation no matter the extent of the trip and will make certain to rent again from Enterprise as you are my go to rental agency; has been for many years
When returning the vehicle, I am met at the "return aisle" by an Enterprise employee who checks the car and gives me a receipt. They are always pleasant.
