a few days after I booked by vehicle, I came online to check the reviews which made me feel very uncomfortable and I started checking other rental companies but it was too late and all the prices had gone up. So I kept my reservation with Budget. My experience started out a little off but the customer service and my overall experience was great. I was told what was going to be charged and what was going to be held on my card, but before my card was swiped she asked me if it was ok for the amount. returning the vehicle was easy and I got my deposit back within a couple of days. When traveling to Atlanta , I will rent from this location again.
By far the worst experience ever! Now we booked a rental for 12 pm the next day and arrived at 12 am. We get that our rate will not be applied until tomorrow at 12pm. The issue is, why is there a $300 deposit for debit and credit cards. We never had this issue any other BUDGET but here. Since it's franchised it's difficult to to call corporate and complain because it's up to the owner digression. So, traveling with a toddler and with child this has made it difficult and extremely inconvenient. I had to call someone to pick us up. Not happy and I will be looking into other locations for rentals. With amount, we could drive to Atlanta!
I found the customer service representatives to be very personable and friendly. I did have to wait approximately 40 minutes for my car but the staff did upgrade my rental. My car rental return was quick and easy, and the staff was helpful and friendly. I will definitely rent from this site again.
They really helped me out of a bind. I had a reservation with Alamo which Alamo would not honor because they did not have a chip reader and I had a card with a chip in it. Alamo manager told me to go to his competitor for assistance so I went to Budget, and they were wonderful. Super helpful. They went the extra mile to get me a car and get me home. I am so grateful.
I rented a car for a one day, one way trip, they put a $300 hold (which I knew), and I dropped the car off the next day. The total cost was $76.64, but when I retuned the car, they took out the total $300 instead of the $76.64. So, I called the 800 number and spoke with 7 different people giving me different information. Finally, they told me that I had to talk directly with the location at the airport. So, I called them 10 different times throughout the day and they never answered. Most times it rang so much that it just hung up. Finally, I got an answering machine and left a message. I called back the next day, since I never received a call back. I was told that it was standard that they took the total $300, and that I would get my money back in 7-10 days. It took 10 days. I will never EVER use Budget again for anything. Hertz is much easier to use and their customer service is 100 times better than Budget.
